The rG Fitness Challenge is here!!!!! That's right boys and girls - rG is challenging you to log off the computer for a few times a week to get outside and get some fresh air, and feel a little healthier!
The origins of this challenge sprout from the fitness thread in our Core section of the forums which can be found
here .
But if you don't have time to sift through the witty banter and extreme posts between dt and I, the basics are this. All willing rG members are challenged to the following:
1.)Everyday eat 4 cups of fruits/vegetables (3 if you have two X chromosomes). You don't have to quit eating anything else, you just have to add those things into your diet.
2.)Do some sort of physical activity at least 3 times a week for 30 minutes (walking counts)All interested parties should visit the previously mentioned and linked thread to sign up, and keep track of weekly progress. Depending on interest we may be able to work out some kind of competition complete with prizes ala 'biggest loser' style competitions. But really, what other prize is worth more than shedding a few pounds, and feeling better?
